  • The Stone Roses' 1989 self-titled debut album has been voted the best British album of all time by NME's writers. The Smiths 'The Queen Is Dead' took 2nd, and Oasis took 3rd with 'Definitely Maybe'. And WHAT THE FUCK is with Arctic Monkeys getting 5th place (higher than Blur, Pulp, The Clash, The Beatles, The Libertines) even though their album was just released this week?
  • Arctic Monkeys refused to perform at next months Brit Awards because they don't like appearing on TV shows - but what does that have to do with an Awards show?

  • Ray Davies admits to being shocked by the Queen's bad language. It almost makes me feel a bit better about my own filthy mouth.
  • And lastly... A whale has been spotted in the Thames in central London. WTF?

    i wish i was an indie-lympian

  • "Brokeback Mountain" and "Walk The Line" were big winners at last night's Golden Globe Awards. I was pretty thrilled when Rachel Weisz won Best Supporting Actress for "The Constant Gardener".

  • Pete Doherty managed to get arrested again over the weekend. At least it's something he's really good at.
  • The White Stripes will guest star in an episode of The Simpsons. And Meg's right, the Lisa episodes are pretty boring.

  • Um, I love cheeseburgers. That is all.
  • Friday, January 13, 2006

  • Damon Albarn is working on a solo album. Yawn.
  • Ms Dynamite assaulted a police officer.

  • Kate Moss has been hanging out with her daughter at Disneyland and dirty dancing with Lohan in New York.
