push the button
AND to celebrate it being Friday (and the end of midterms), I'd like to offer up 3 pop songs for your listening (dis)pleasure... Because after all, I may be the living embodiment of rock'n'roll but I'm still entitled to the many joys of listening to a cheesy pop song.
1. Sugababes - "Push The Button"
This is just a brilliant pop song. Like all of the singles from Sugababes. Absolutely brilliant.
2. Rachel Stevens - "I Said Never Again (But Here We Are)"
It's no "Some Girls" but it does contains the very suggestive line, "I let you in my back door".
3. Charlotte Church - "Crazy Chick"
This is BY FAR the cheesiest pop song I've heard all year - but I make the obsession because I love Charlotte Church for being a busty bad-ass boozer... She actually sings the line, "you got my acting like a whacked-out chick". Seriously. It needs to be heard to be believed.
Anyway, don't take the music too seriously! Have a great weekend everyone!

I'll agree that "I said never again" is no "some girls" but have you heard "negotiate with love"? it's the business and the maxi-single has the video.
and yes, "push the button" is GENIUS!
Excellent three tunes my Dear especially the Charlotte and Rachel. Man I miss hearing good pop music instead of the inspid stuff they play in the Met.Ro.
Thanks for the updates. Man am I missing so very much. Babyshambles leaked. Kinks and New Order Joy Division in the R'nR Hall of fame (how were they not already!)More pete news and Geri with a baby!
P.S. I saw Clor at the ULU when I was there and they were ace.
Thanks for the most-excellent posts (and mp3s) the past couple of days!
Still not sure what I think of the new Babyshambles record... The Libertines it is certainly not. However, I'll have to ponder and listen again this weekend... have a good one!
Check your hotmail preciosa.
