THANKS for the Babyshambles! I like what I've heard so far...have you had a chance to form an impression of the album as a whole?

matt - I've listened to it a few times but I haven't really formed an opinion yet...

I can admit that I've found is slightly underwhelming in comparison to my first listens of Libertines albums...

But the songs are brill... And I do think that Babyshambles are at their best as a 'live' band and that all of these songs sounded much better when I saw them performed live.

I wonder if The Observer will be available in Canada somewhere with that Franz Ferdinand CD. I know that Chapters/Indigo Books carries a good stock of foreign newspapers. I'll be on the hunt over the weekend.

Oh, I'm a Pete obsessive too. I LOVE YOUR BLOG. We've got a lot of the same interest. If it's okay, I want to link to you on my blog! Let me know. I have great pics with Nick from Franz Ferdinand who was at my house when they played San Francisco. Met him about a year and 1/2 ago after one of there SF gigs and now we hang out every time he comes through. What a GREAT GUY! He spent the night here when they were in town and we played the piano together! Anyway, YOU ROCK! xo keith boadwee
