You are never too young (or too old) for Love! The band's hit, a cover of Burt Bacharach's "My Little Red Book," plays over the end credits of High Fidelity. When you get your net connection back, check my site for links, including Calexico's wonderful cover of "Alone Again Or."
I had a friend that played with Arthur's Love incarnation in the 90's. He still had the swagger but he was yet again another example of 60's inability to manage their sex. drugs and rock 'n' roll like the fine youth of today.
definitely worth checking out to see the roots of a lot of todays music. they were actually the hit of sunset strip before the doors and may have been bigger had they not had a lot of infighting...kinda like Oasis without brothers.
Muller, i'd say he has had more influence on the Brian Jonestown Massacre types of the world than anti-gilette activist Devandra or that annoying elf woman that does bad-Bjork. :P
yeah, i wanted to gouge my eyes out when i found out that they'd be playing the docks...but eh, i figured i'd keep the jabs at the venue out of the review. that place pretty much mocks itself.
