you love us

  • Coldplay makes history. Too bad the song sucks. Yeah I said it.
  • Chart reviews The Arcade Fire's show at the Danforth Music Hall last Thursday. People will be buzzing about these shows for weeks.
  • The Sun jumps on the Kaiser Chiefs bandwagon. It was only a matter of time.
  • So Meg Matthews is still not speaking terms with her baby's daddy Noel Gallagher. If that ugly broad only knew how lucky she had it...
Damnit, who am I kidding, she's an inspiration!
  • Listen to Colin Meloy covering Morrissey's "I've Changed My Plea To Guilty" courtesy of Stereogum.
  • Avril keeps on drinking (Canada Dry?) and making me proud!
  • Tara Reid's stomach both scares and fascinates me!
  • Paris Hilton makes selling hamburgers sexy as hell. Hell, hamburgers were sexy to begin with but Paris just adds some more OOMPH!
  • Whisky Echo was super hot and awesome - and on CBC no less! Props to the cute Italian guy who played "Carlo" and made me all excited about going to Italy in a month. Because I travel for the men! Obviously!
  • Who the fuck thought a BLOODY ZIT SLUSHY would be a good idea?

Whoever approved naming and subsequent marketing of that slush drink at Alimentation Couche-Tard should be dismissed immediately and forced to drink the nothing but that product for two weeks whilst staring at that ad. Sure 7-10 year boy market can’t get enough of anything remotely disgusting. But really how big is that market and of all that boldly fluids (which are pretty darn gross once they leave the body) the blood and puss combination from a zit has to be one of the grossest combinations imaginable.

As per Paris and that hamburger now that’s marketing genius. After clicking that link I immediately beelined it to the nearest drive through. Is there anything that women can’t sell?

What an awful review of the Kaiser Chiefs, but up to the standard i expect from the Sun! It sounds like an over-excited 13 year old reporting on their very first gig. Sure the Kaiser's are good, but are they really that good? After releasing the best tracks off of their already released album, I some what doubt they're "sure to dominate the music scene this year".

Don't get me wrong, I do really like the Kaisers, i just hate the sun and their stupid superlative style.

    Mike :)

Hey Sarah! I thought Paris Hilton was vegetarian too before I saw that picture :S
But, like you, I think a burger like that could change anyone's mind!
