positano

Hey, its me again. Were hanging on the Amalfi Coast in a crazy little town called Positano and even though it took nearly 10 hours to get here, it was definately worth it. Everything is just so incredibly beautiful. Watch "The Talanted Mr Ripley" to see the scenery youre missing!

This little seaside town used to be the hotspot where all the cool writers, artists and bohemians (like Jack Kerouac and John Steinbeck) used to chill out. Were going to Pompei tomorow and then heading to Florence the day after. Anyway, I better get back to my siesta.

Kisses.

I'm so jealous. I've been to all those places, and I miss them so much.
Postitano is just too beautiful for words. "Wedding Cake Hill" describes it perfectly.

Pompeii was the most amazing thing I think I've ever seen. I have a fun picture of me lounging on one of the stone beds in the Pompeii Brothel.

Wait until you see the Firenze Duomo.

so very very jealous.

Hi Annie,
What a fantastic honeymoon that will be!

In Rome, I found the best restaurant. It's a little family-run deal, and has the best food I have ever EVER tasted. It's so quaint.
It's called Trattoria Dell'Omo, and it's at 18 Via Vicenza, off Via Marsala right by the central Termini Train Station.
(Via Marsala runs along the side of the station)

Honestly, you must go there! The cheese ravioli in butter and sage is heavenly.
It's run by an old man named Gino who is rather crusty:), his wife who does all the cooking, and their son Antonio.
It's great for a leisurely lunch, or a long dinner - very little, and very romantic. Very very reasonable prices too.

I'll try to think of other must-sees for you. :)
