i wanna go to rehab... for a vacation

  • Paddingtons guitarist Marv Hines got drunk recently and smashed a glass through his hand. Major damage! It may take a whole year for him to recover! ... There's many reasons why some people become musicians and not rocket scientists. This is one of those reasons.
  • Blur talk about the direction of their next album and practically admit everything sucks without Graham.
  • Noel Gallagher thinks modern hip hop stars (like 50 Cent and The Game) are idiots... and he's right. As always.
  • Radiohead's Thom Yorke to meet with British PM Tony Blair to discuss government policy on climate change. Let's hope this is just a one-off... We don't need another Bono.
  • Kate Moss has checked herself into rehab. Smart move.
  • Courtney Love has vowed never to show her breasts again in public. THANK THE LORD.

Thom Yorke will never be Bono. Thankfully.

Noel Gallagher is like a fine wine, he gets better with age. I'm glad he's the Gallagher brother I can actually understand, not like that dipshit Liam.

Brilliant post my dear. I flinched and cringed reading that article about Marv Hines—I was even feeling sorry for the guy. But then I looked back at what you wrote and had to laugh. Clearly my initial reaction was dumb. Dude’s misfortune came at the hands of his own sheer stupidity. Here’s hoping he never procreates so that kind of idiocy doesn’t have the chance of being passed on to the next generation. But if he does by chance procreate I pray that the child bearer is in fact a rocket scientist ‘cause that poor kid will need all the help it can get when it comes to genes.

Could Damon please just stick to Gorillaz for the foreseeable future? Hearing that talk about a new album was so incredibly pitiful. But if Anderson and Butler can get back together there's still hope for Coxon and Alburn.

Happiness in Magazine's proved that Graham is more than capable of doing things on his own. It's one phenomenal and criminally ignored album in these parts. Clearly he appears to be much happier now than his later years in Blur. But still I think as good as those two are on their own, they made some absolute stormers together. So if they can resolve their issues and get back together I'd happily buy the results.
