Ha, I just saw Kasabian and Oasis at the ACL festival this past weekend, and Liam and the bassist of Oasis were backstage watching the show. same with Sergio and Tom of Kasabian watching Oasis play the next day. they always support one another.
Limp Bizkit covering the Verve will definately create some stir not only among hardcore the Verve, but all sort of music fans. I can already imagine how the song will sound like. First, Fred Durst's use of annoying and primitive one syllable phrases such as "Yo!" and "Yeah!" is going to repeat at least 20 times in the song. Create some cheap power chords. Then stretch the song to over 5 minutes, just to make it look like an grandeur.

Awww! Lucky! I'm glad those two bands are friends - they both have a lot to offer the other!
Why hasn't someone killed Fred Durst yet? I can't even begin to imagine how disgusting the 'cover' must be.
the verve should respond in kind and cover 'nookie'.
fen - I predict WORSE EVER.
nathan - The Verve (should they ever reform) should never ever stoop so low. Not even when being ironic.
ha! if i was a serious musician i'd do a spite cover every now and then.
