it's there

  • The Guardian has a feature on the awesome Arctic Monkeys today! I love them!
  • The Killers new material will make you feel dirty.
  • Gaz sent me this Morrissey track that was leaked back before 'You Are The Quarry' was released. Sigh. I heart it. I heart everything he does.
  • I quite like this new band from Boston called Aberdeen City.
  • Lady Sovereign is leading a "Save The Hoodie" campaign! It also conveniently ties in with her new single "Hoodie" which you can hear on the site.
  • From this week's Popbitch... "The Gorillaz single was supposed to have been called "It's There", but after about 100 takes, Shaun Ryder still hadn't got it right, so the band decided to change it to Dare." Bahahah.

That's was a great interview. I'm a bit indiffernt on the monkey's but after raeading that i'll definately have to check out more.

Lady Sovereign has some brilliant marketing folk. That campagin is sure to sell a lot of singles and rightfully so.

Oh Shaun Ryder! What a perfect a poster child for the dangers of drugs. Popbitch made my day with that one. I always wondered why it was "Dare" and after hearing that "It's There" makes so much more sense.

That is now a Morrissey song. It's by a Swedish band called The Boys and was circulation quite a bit a year or two ago but was quickly surmised to be bogus and not Moz by a countrey mile.

The Boys, however, are quite promising. Some more samples: http://www.smashingtime.net/ljud.htm
