hell is the dentist

  • Muse are planning to release their comeback single "Supermassive Black Hole" on June 19. I'll be looking forward to their new album.
  • The Subways have been forced to cancel their US tour for health reasons.
  • NME gives Dirty Pretty Things debut album 'Waterloo To Anywhere' a glowing review.
  • Richard Ashcroft sends Pete Doherty a warning: "If there's any drug addled rock star out there listening, all you're going to be is a picture on a T-shirt in five years time on some poor kid who thinks you were cool".
  • Here's YouTube footage of Gnarls Barkley performing "Crazy" on TOTP. Stunning. (Thanks for the link Vanessa!)
  • Some news and details about a solo album from Emily Haines (Metric). It's expected release is late September.
  • Perez Hilton is bringing back Sophie Ellis Bextor. She is equal, if not better, to Kylie in my opinion.
  • Snoop's working on a novel - for the ladies.
  • The message was "peace" in a recent pay-per-view seance with John Lennon. Bwahaha!
  • Wes Anderson and Jason Schwartzman's made an ad for American Express.
  • If you're feeling political and/or purposeless today then might I suggest the Candle Light Vigil for the Panchen Lama happening this afternoon from 4 to 6pm outside the Chinese Consulate. I wish I could be there myself.
  • If you want to treat yourself (as you should), might I recommend Istoica for some eye candy.
  • Speaking of treats, go get your free Ben & Jerry's ice cream!
