I just don’t know how I’ll be able to wait until September 2nd when Black Rebel Motorcycle Club release “Take Them On, On Your Own”… “Stop” will be the first single and the LP will include “Six Barrel Shotgun”, “US Government” and “Heart + Soul”. The complete tracklisting is as follows: Stop, Six Barrel Shotgun, We're All In Love, In Like The Rose, Ha Ha High Babe, Generation, Shade Of Blue, US Government, And I'm Aching, Suddenly, Rise Or Fall, Heart + Soul. If you haven’t seen it yet then visit the official site to see pics of the boys in the studios.
… And yeah, I’m still in love with Rob.

Good and bad news from the official Black Rebel Motorcycle Club website. "Tickets for BRMC's Toronto show sold out in an incredible one minute! It is possible that a second show may be added." ... In the meantime, buy this!

Wednesday was the Coldplay concert… And like their previously concerts I walked away feeling like I was leaving a bubble where everything in the world was wonderful (and they did in fact play “What A Wonderful World”). If you haven’t seen them live its like being part of a giant group hug. It is, and was, absolutely lovely.
Ron Sexsmith was the opener and was gorgeous! Chris Martin joined even joined Ron for a live version of their duet “Gold In Them Hills”. Brilliant.
You can see the pictures of the show here and here.
The setlist was as follows: Politik, God Put A Smile Upon Your Face, A Rush of Blood To The Head, Daylight, Trouble, One I Love, Don't Panic, Moses, Everything's Not Lost, Your World's Turned Upside Down, Yellow, The Scientist…
1st Encore: Clocks, In My Place, Amsterdam
2nd Encore: Lips Like Sugar, Life Is For Living

I hope that when I’m a famous indie God that no-one discovers old essays I wrote in my freshman year of Uni! Read Mr. Paul Banks’ essay on “Butterfly Gifts”.
