I encourage all of you to make a small donation to help with earthquake and tidal wave relief in South East Asia (if you can afford it). I feel really good that I did and I hope it becomes the hip thing to do. If you can just spare a few dollars (like whatever you'd spend on fast food in the next week or two, or, even like 5% of whatever you got for Christmas)... I just think if you ever needed a reason to give to charity, this is a good place to start...

  • WTF?! Interpol's new video for "Evil" is, er, interesting... WTF is with the puppet?
  • The very beautiful and talanted Emiliana Torrini has a new album, Fisherman's Woman, due out at the end of January. I heard the album last night and it's simply stunning - not unlike Emiliana herself.
