carling weekend
Big music festivals went down in Reading and Leeds this weekend. Here's a summary of what happened at the Carling Weekend courtesy of my beloved NME...
Kasabian "sent off" their first album (whatever that means) The Killers said goodbye to the UK in style My Chemical Romance played two sets in one day The Pixies made a triumphant return Arctic Monkeys were rapturously recieved! Yay! I love them! The Charlatans previewed new material and so did Razorlight! Arcade Fire blew everyone away Graham Coxon joined Charlotte Hatherley onstage Babyshambles trashed the stage The Tears played a crowd-pleasing headlining set And The Rakes had a bunch of famous people stand in for their missing singer at Leeds AND also at Reading.

The Toronto Star and Canoe (Toronto Sun) have posted reviews of
the band's concert in Toronto last night.
